Most commonly asked questions about our St. Louis Ceremony rentals and St. Louis PA rentals

How do we choose the right DIY ceremony package

This really comes down to how you are providing your music. If you have a device (iPhone, iPod or laptop) that has a headphone or auxiliary output, and you plan to use all recorded music, then the Basic Package is all you need. If you have live musicians and/or need Bluetooth capability, then the Live Plus Package is your best option. The Live Plus package also has a USB and SD Card slot should you want to play your MP3 music using these media inputs. You can rent either system for additional days if you prefer to include the option of using it for your rehearsal as well (call or email us for details). The system take about 15 minutes to fully set up

How does the full service ceremony package work

With this option, everything is provided for you including all delivery, set up and return of the system. We also play the music through our own devices, so it's 100% hands free for you.  One of our technicians will arrive about 45 minutes prior to the prelude music start time for load in and set up. He will also set up the microphones as needed for your officiant, readers, singers, etc., You will need to let us know the music you want for the prelude, processional and recessional.  We have helpful suggestions and can consult with you on this ahead of time. You should plan to start our service 30 minutes prior to the actual ceremony start time with prelude music.

How does the microphone set up work

Both of our packages include 2 wireless microphone systems, however, additional microphones can be added if needed. The microphone types include hand held with stand and lapel or headset with body pack. For outdoor ceremonies and events, lapels are not recommended, but our slim-line headset or hand held systems work fantastic.  You can choose any combination of microphones or two of the same type if preferred, such as 2 hand held for example.

What if I need a PA for a different type of event

No problem, we frequently rent these systems for speaking events, or events where only background music is needed. We can also adjust the systems to meet the size and space of larger non-wedding events.  For example, our systems are used at all the major Purina Event Center dog shows throughout the year.  These are large indoor and outdoor events that we provide completely customized PA and microphone systems for.
